DANCE FOR BRAIN HEALTH

New for 2025!

We are very excited to be offering new dance classes for brain health this year.  These classes are appropriate for anyone living with Parkinson's disease, or movement and mobility challenges, no matter how advanced.  Family, carers, friends and health professionals are welcome to attend. The class is also open to members of our community who want to boost their brain health.

With seated and standing options, you will explore elements of dance and exercise in a stimulating, inclusive and creative social environment.  No dance experience is necessary!  Modelled after the Dance for PD program developed by the Mark Morris Dance Group and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group in the USA, classes incorporate best practice for quality of life approaches to wellbeing and are endorsed by neurologists and health professionals.
