Amelia Waller danced with the Queensland Ballet Company for 8 years before joining the Leipzig Ballet in Germany. Amelia has worked with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Mario Schroeder, Meryl Tankard, Natalie Weir, William Forsythe and Francois Klaus to name a few. Her career has traversed the globe from Japan to Singapore, Germany

After her extensive solo ballet career, and associated travel, Amelia has returned to the Queensland Ballet. Amelia teaches and shares her experiences in classical and contemporary dance to Academy students and teachers in the QB Transitional course, which is dedicated to career preparation and skill development in contemporary. Nicole is returning in 2024 for another round of Yeppoon RAD masterclasses. Nicole is a RAD Tutor and former Queensland Ballet professional dancer, and has inspired many students with her incredible poise, grace and friendliness.
Nicole will deliver a RAD timetable that covers all RAD examinations levels for registered participants.

Nicole will deliver a RAD timetable that covers all RAD examinations levels for registered participants.
Nicole takes students through their examination curriculum and assists students to feel more prepared and confidant. All participants receive a certificate signed by Nicole. Private bookings with Nicole are also available for participants of her masterclasses. Spots will be limited, and available for booking once registration has been made.

About the Masterclass Series
Allegra Dance Academy are proud to bring our annual Masterclass Series to Yeppoon for our Winter Workshops 2024. This is an opportunity for all our fellow dance schools throughout the Central Queensland Region, to gain exposure to professional artists in a positive and professional environment.
Our intensive masterclass series will focus on skill development in RAD Ballet, Contemporary and Commercial Jazz. Our visiting professionals will explore new choreography, support participant confidence, passion and vision for their individual dancing future.
With heightened costs of travel and living expenses, intensive professional opportunities for skill development and career pathway mentoring can seem out of reach. Our commitment is to continue to bring industry professionals to our region to offer experience, connection, friendship and career pathways for all participants.
Exposure to opportunities like this can be the catalyst for exponential growth, and students reaching their next level of achievement, discipline, determination – and career pathways.

Alessandra will lead students through ballet technique and then repertoire in four aged.
Junior A - Primary, Gr 1, Gr 2 (60mins)
